High Protein Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust

Cottage Cheese Crust Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup of cottage cheese

  • 4 Tbsp. of oatmeal flour (blend oatmeal in a blender to make flour)

  • 1 Tbsp. of baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. of Italian seasoning

Pizza Topping Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of marinara sauce

  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, sausage, peppers, basil, mushrooms, etc.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  1. Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, oatmeal flour, baking powder, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and form a thick batter.

  2. Shape the Crust: Transfer the cottage cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and use a spatula or your hands to shape it into a large circle, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. Bake the Crust: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and firm to the touch.
